SkyDSR - Digital Satellite Router

The SkyDSR is Cerona’s flagship DVB-S2 receiver. Available as a clean, easy to install network appliance, the SkyDSR provides media-rich broadband IP data at speeds up to 80Mbps to the desktop, the Enterprise LAN, or the Service Provider’s head-end. The SkyDSR is part of Cerona’s Sky Digital family, which is the most comprehensive end-to-end DVB-S/S2 broadband IP solution available.

SkyDSR™ Caching Unit

The SkyDSR Caching Receiver is an ideal store and forward DVB-S2 receiver. Available as a clean, easy to install network appliance. Configurable with up to 1TB of storage, the SkyDSR provides media-rich broadband IP data at speeds up to 80Mbps to the desktop, the Enterprise LAN, or the Service Provider’s head-end. The SkyDSR is part of Cerona’s Sky Digital family, which is the most comprehensive end-to-end DVB-S/S2 broadband IP solution available.

SkyDGR™ Digital Gateway Router

The SkyDGR – Digital Gateway Router is Cerona’s newest addition to its growing line of satellite network solutions. The SkyDGR is a Linux-based fully compliant DVB IP Encapsulator. The SkyDGR encapsulates IP data into MPEG-2 packets and creates a DVB-compliant transport stream for broadcast over a variety of digital transmission systems. Applications include high-speed Internet delivery, streaming audio and video, distance learning, corporate LAN/WAN interconnection, and Web caching.

SkyDSL™ SAMA VSAT

The SkyDSL VSAT Terminal can be deployed anywhere in the world to provide premium Internet access and IP connectivity. Together, the SkyDSL Router (indoor unit), the SkyTCP™ Software (IP acceleration), and the SkyDSL Outdoor Unit enable the SkyDSL VSAT Terminal to efficiently provide IP Networking at the maximum speed wherever needed and whenever desired.

SkyPack™

The SkyPack Receiver (SPR) is housed in a sturdy ruggedized laptop case, and is the next logical step in the evolution of receivers for the warfighter. The SPR is compatible with GBS, and incorporates an advanced DVB-S2 satellite receiver capable of receiving up to 80 Mbps of digital content for storage, concurrent with audio applications and/or streaming video(s) in real-time, when mission required.

SkyDSR-DT Dual Tuner Router

The SkyDSR-DT is Cerona’s latest offering in the DVB-S2 receiver products. The DT is a dual tuner receiver capable of receiving transmissions from two different transponders simultaneously, or can be used as a fully redundant receiver acting as a primary with on-line backup capabilities. The DT is available in a 1 RU rack mount chassis and provides media-rich broadband IP data at speeds up to 80 Mbps per tuner or 164Mbps in the aggregate when used on multiple transponders. The SkyDSR-DT is part off Cerona’s Sky Digital family, which is the most comprehensive end-to-end DVB broadband IP solution available.
