Summit Fixed Earth Stations

Summit fixed earth stations come in configurations ranging from sub-meter antennas up to Standard A, customized for each installation from a field-proven set of pre-engineered building blocks that provides high reliability and fast turn-up at a very competitive price. Summit earth stations include all electronics (L through Ku-band and all intermediate frequencies) needed to meet the customer’s requirements for transmit, receive and interface to terrestrial networks, either integrated into the antenna or within a separate shelter or building. Explorer moblie Earth Stations
Explorer mobile earth stations with integrated electronics (L through Ku-band and all intermediate frequencies) are suited for a wide range of military, institutional, newsgathering, enterprise and other applications. Explorer earth stations are available in sizes ranging from sub-meter up to 3 meters. Depending on your requirements, they can be configured as flyaways (either auto-aligning or manual) or as trailer or vehicle-mounted transportables. Whatever the configuration, they provide cost-effective, two-way communications in locations where traditional telecommunications infrastructure is inadequate or nonexistent.
SkyBorne IPTV Solution

SkyBorne is Globecomm's systems design, integration and maintenance solution for satellite distribution of IP video. Drawing on decades of experience with both traditional broadcast and IP-based networks, Globecomm engineers and installs satellite-based solutions for video distribution and services for wireline carriers, ISPs, mobile carriers, cable MSOs and enterprise networks. Network Monitoring

Globecomm delivers the highest quality of service in network monitoring through its Network Operations Center, staffed 27/7 by both technicians and engineers experienced with satellite, video and IP issues. The NOC monitors circuits on multiple levels to ensure that service-level agreements are being met. In the event of any incident, the monitoring system automatically triggers audible and visual alerts, sends email to NOC technicians and key engineers, and creates a trouble ticket to log and track the event. Standard monitoring covers all satellite RF and IF components, baseband equipment including routers and encoding platforms, and all terrestrial connections to the Long Island International Teleport. In addition to monitoring local operations, Globecomm offers remote-site monitoring for multi-service VSAT and other two-way and broadcast networks.

Help Desk
Globecomm’s Help Desk provides a single reliable, cost-effective point of contact for maintenance requests, troubleshooting and customer reporting. The Help Desk provides Tier-One troubleshooting and, when necessary, escalates issues to Tier-Two support.
Field Service
Globecomm offers a comprehensive set of high-quality installation, maintenance, repair and training services to ensure a high level of quality and professionalism at the remote end of satellite-based networks. Service is provided by a network of field technicians across the United States and in selected international centers, as well as by technicians based at our Hauppauge corporate headquarters.
