Additional Company Information:

We do it!

We know what works.

For more than a decade, Burst has been a leading equipment reseller and systems integrator, offering technological solutions that provide professionals the ability to create, design, deliver or display electronic media. With an unwavering commitment to excellence and a firm dedication to provide the highest quality service, Burst is the clear choice for professionals involved with the broadcast and video industries and presentation technologies.

Burst continually strives to utilize its strengths in systems design, engineering, and integration to find the right products and right solutions for its clients. Burst delivers outstanding quality and unprecedented service that is crucial to this industry.

We do it all.

It makes sense for facilities to size themselves to be as lean and efficient as possible. Often, resources are inadequate to maintain engineering, design and installation experts on staff, or your staff may be unable to stay abreast of the constantly changing technologies and equipment available. That's where Burst fits in. When you need to complete a project on time and within budget, and you're not equipped with the information, technology or manpower to do it in-house, we can help. Equipment. Consultation. Design. Installation. We do it all.

- We deliver knowledgeable recommendations based upon training, skill, and years of experience.
- Our AutoCAD and VidCAD designers are among the best in the business.
- We represent hundreds of top manufacturers, thus offering endless possibilities, unheard of flexibility, and total freedom in design. We know the latest technology available.

We're different.

What we do and how we do it is never privileged or confidential information. After all, once your equipment is purchased or your project is complete, it's your staff who will be in charge of day-to-day operations. So, unlike other integrators or resellers, we emphasize a collaborative approach that empowers your employees to better perform their jobs. We are happy to use your staff as part of our labor crew, thus saving you money and giving your employees a complete understanding of your unique system and how it works. Of course, we can also design a turnkey system for your facility, or customize a training program for your staff.

It starts with a job.

We value long-term relationships with our clients. And invariably, these relationships start with a single job. Our clients like what they see. And they invite us back to do more work. We earn their trust, and then we do everything we can to keep it. That's how it works. That's how we work.

History

When Kirk Basefsky and Robin Heywood founded Burst in 1991, they were enthusiastic about becoming a professional video and broadcast equipment dealer that put the customer's needs before the sale. In doing so, they blazed a new trail in selling solutions first, product second. Nearly a decade later, the partners realized they could better serve their clients by providing systems and integration solutions, too. In early 2000, Basefsly and Heywood expanded operations to offer a more complete service and fulfill the increased demand for systems integration.

Today, Basefsky and Heywood oversee a sizeable company with headquarters in Denver, Colorado and offices across the West. Their staff is comprised of experienced, knowledgeable people who enjoy their work and aren't afraid to show it. Burst's sales engineers average 18 years in the industry and are extremely knowledgeable on the subject of cutting edge technology. They know the right questions to ask so they can recommend the most suitable equipment or integration solution for you.

In this age of mergers and acquisitions, Burst remains privately held and managed.
